today's taping

We taped a great show today -- maybe our best so far. When it airs in 10 days, you'll see a theme show on public safety in ATL like you haven't seen before: a panel with our own public defender-host, a man who spent 20 years in one of the roughest prisons in our country, a mayoral candidate who was a victim of a crime with a gun and a prosecutor who is running to be a state judge. We talk about gun control, sexual offender laws in GA and lots more. And you'll meet a young artist who has come from a life of hardship to create artwork that proves his genius and passion. Meet our guest host, the Chinese Southern Belle, and hear what the minister of the Spiritual Living Center has to say about faith and Public Safety. All this coming up Nov. 2 and 5. Next week, you'll see our all- politics show leading up to the election on Nov. 3. Great candidate guests for local and state offices.

Welcome to All The Latest ATL

We now have a blog! Feel free to post your comments re: our new Atlanta TV show.

Let us know what you thought of our first show and our interviews with Mayoral candidate Kasim Reed, Rabbi Joshua Lesser and filmmaker Linda Burns and our second show with another part of our interview with Kasim, and with Tayyibah Taylor, editor/publisher of Azizah Magazine and a leader in the Muslim Women's community. We also had Barry Stoltze, President of our Atlanta-based regional AFTRA branch (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) and a scene from the upcoming Lend Me An Ear old-time radio show (by the actors' unions, SAG, AFTRA and AEA (Actors Equity) benefitting the Atlanta Community Food Bank on Oct. 26 at the Shakespeare Tavern in downtown ATL).

As of today, there will have been 2 shows aired on People TV (Channels 12 or 24 in the Atlanta City limits). The show aired today at 12:30 will get a bit more tweaking with editing before it's re-aired this Thurs. at 9pm. Our shows are always livecast in case you can't get to a TV at those times and we're working to get the correctly edited/transferred shows on Video On Demand at the station link (currently they show up there, but with no audio!) and on Blip TV (at the moment, they're inexplicably truncated shows that you find there). All this tech stuff is a work in progress for us.

We look forward to hearing from you and we'll hope to have some upcoming comments from the rest of our cohosts and crew (and maybe even guests)!
